Prep Mentality is a focused book on the psychological demands of contest preparation.
It is not motivational content, and it is not designed to hype you up. It is an operating framework for athletes navigating sustained pressure, fatigue, and decision-making under constrained conditions.
Rather than emphasizing intensity or effort, this book addresses the quieter factors that often undermine otherwise solid preps: emotional decision-making, cognitive drift, social media exposure, identity instability, and the loss of structure as fatigue accumulates.
The material is written with competitive physique preparation in mind, but the framework extends beyond the stage. Any phase that demands sustained precision under pressure, including aggressive body recomposition, photo shoots, career pushes, or other high-stakes personal goals, tends to follow similar psychological patterns.
This is not a book to read once for motivation. It is designed to be read in full, then revisited as preparation progresses and conditions change.
